Lörrach is a modern industrial and services centre in the heart of the "Dreilaendereck", the region where Germany, France and Switzerland meet. A major district town with a population of 46,700, it provides jobs for approximately 18,300 people in a well-balanced local economy. Many well-known manufacturing companies are based in Lörrach.
